Introduction to Module 7: The Teacher’s Role in Implementing Intervention In this module, the following topics are addressed: identifying and developing interventions that account for academic, behavioral, and social supports; implementing interventions within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS); developing action plans; monitoring and evaluating plans; and intensifying and/or modifying intervention for non-responders. Throughout the narrated PowerPoint, there are embedded resources, videos, case studies, action plans, and discussion checkpoints.

Module 8: Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Module 8 provides an introduction to culturally responsive, sustaining education. The narrated PowerPoint has embedded a self-assessment and cultural checklist using culturally responsive assessments, self-assessment of cultural perspectives, and useful resources.

Module 9: Attendance Data This self-directed module includes information on problems contributing to attendance difficulties and ways to encourage attendance. There are embedded application activities, generalization enhancing sample scenarios, and resources and supplemental materials.

This presentation focuses on the PA Core Standards and the Standards-Aligned Unit Planning process, specifically the first step.
