Deaf/Hard of Hearing

The Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) supports at PaTTAN are designed to serve a wide range of stakeholders, including teachers of the deaf, educational audiologists, interpreters, supervisors, and families. Rooted in the understanding that hearing loss impacts access to communication and learning, this page provides a comprehensive collection of resources to support effective, equitable practices across educational settings. Users will find training opportunities, recorded webinars, practical tools, and access to consultants who can support local teams. Resources are organized to highlight key areas such as communication access, instructional strategies, assistive technology, and collaboration—helping teams build strong connections and ensure students who are deaf or hard of hearing have full access to learning and meaningful participation.
