Students who are deaf or hard of hearing have unique linguistic, environmental, and cultural needs. Each student is an individual with different strengths, talents, and communication considerations that must be examined when designing educational programs to facilitate growth and prepare the student for success in adult life. Families and school teams of students who are deaf or hard of hearing are encouraged to explore the resources on this website, and reach out to their regional PaTTAN DHH Consultants (link to DHH Consultants list) with questions and requests for customized support.
