This annotated document provides guidance on the development of the Individualized Education Program (IEP). The IEP should be used as a tool to guide instruction and support meaningful educational outcomes for students with disabilities. It is encouraged that IEP team members utilize the annotated IEP and related resources when developing a student’s IEP to support thoughtful decision-making, ensure alignment with the student’s individual needs, and promote effective, specially designed instruction.
