K-6 Lesson Plans

What is Coding? 
This lesson plan was developed for k-1. Prior to this lesson, students will have covered how a Chromebook works.

Sphero BOLT Obstacle Course 
This lesson plan was developed for K-8. This lesson was integrated into Digital Literacy. Prior to this lesson, students will have covered block coding, as well as an introduction to the sphero. This lesson will require Sphero.

CS Through the Weather Cycle 
This lesson plan was developed for  4th grade. This lesson was integrated into Science.Prior to this lesson, students will have covered the common factors all living things need to survive. 

Exploring the Scratch Environment with Conditionals 
This lesson plan was developed for a 6th grade virtual Ed Tech class. Prior to this lesson, students will have covered the trouble shooting in the engineering design process. This lesson will require students using Scratch.

7-12 Lesson Plans

Run Robot, Run 
This lesson plan was developed for 11th-12th grade students in their AP CSP. Prior to the lesson, students will have learned about for loops, while loops and nested loops.

Cybersecurity Risks
This lesson plan was developed for a Cybersecurity course for 9th and 10th graders. Prior to this lesson, students will have covered parameters, return values, and libraries. This lesson will require the use of Code.org.

Cyber Attacks 
This lesson plan was developed for 9-12. This lesson was integrated into CSP or CS 1 or 2. Prior to this lesson, students will have covered Digital Citizenship.

Building a Scene with Prefabs
This lesson plan was developed for a 10th-12th grade Game Design class. Prior to this lesson, students will explore the historical development of computing technologies, from early mechanical calculators to modern digital computers, highlighting key advancements and their societal impacts.
