Sean Forbes is a ground-breaking musician and songwriter who happens to be deaf. Forbes has released several albums and EPs, including "Perfect Imperfection" and "Little Victories," which quickly hit #1 on several top music charts. Self described as "deaf and loud," Forbes incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) into his music and often collaborates with other deaf artists.
Forbes is also the co-founded the Deaf Professional Arts Network (DPAN), a nonprofit organization that makes music and music culture accessible for the deaf and hard of hearing community. D-PAN has produced several music videos featuring deaf performers, including an ASL interpretation of Eminem's "Lose Yourself," which Forbes performed himself. DPAN now provides a wide range of media production services with a focus on ASL access.
Aiming to inspire others to chase their dreams, Forbes has performed hundreds of live shows in which he shares his music, stories, and message about chasing dreams.
