Check & Connect

Check & Connect is a structured mentoring intervention used with K-12 students to promote student success and engagement at school through relationship building and systematic use of data. A trained Check & Connect mentor is assigned to work with students who may show signs of disengaging from school, such as poor attendance, behavioral issues, and/or low grades. Mentors also work and partner with families and focus on promoting a student’s educational success and staying in school.
